The situation
MS Engraving runs CNC wood cutting, 3D carving, 2D cutting, and acrylic signage out of a workshop near Mohali, Punjab. Their customers — signmakers, furniture builders, architects, small factories — search on their phones and want exactly one thing: a fast, credible quote. The business had real craft and real machines, but every enquiry lived and died on word of mouth.
What we built
A lead-first website where every path ends in a conversation. Quoting is deliberately WhatsApp-first: a real CNC quote depends on the drawing, the material, the thickness, the quantity, and the finish — so instead of faking a price list, the site’s whole job is to start that chat with the right details already in hand. The prompts are written for the workshop’s actual customers, including the Hindi and Punjabi phrasing the client asked for.
Behind it: a pre-rendered build that loads instantly on budget phones and patchy data connections, a quote form handled by one tiny serverless function, structured data for local search, and a photo pipeline keyed to stable filenames — the owner can swap in new workshop shots and the whole site updates, no code touched.
Why it matters
Industrial customers don’t browse — they verify and call. The site answers the three questions that close the deal — what can you cut, have you done my kind of job, how do I reach you — in under a second, in their language, on their phone.
